Mission

Maine Jazz Camp (MJC) develops the potential of young people from diverse backgrounds through performing arts training and performance opportunities in jazz – an art form whose roots are deeply embedded in American history and culture.

MJC is devoted to training, enriching, and inspiring all youth nationwide by igniting within them an enduring passion for the arts. A strong sense of discipline and focus is entailed to learn this art form and being exposed to these traits at an early age can bring about success in any field and positive social change.
